Sarah had always loved singing but never considered it more than a hobby until she participated in KNP Talent Day 2020. Her performance caught the attention of the judges, including a visiting music producer.

"IGAT Club gave me the platform I needed to showcase my talent. The workshops helped me improve my vocal techniques and stage presence," Sarah recalls.

After winning the campus competition, Sarah was encouraged to audition for Kenya's Got Talent, where she made it to the finals. This exposure led to a recording contract with a local label. Today, Sarah has released two singles and performs regularly at events across the country.

"I'm studying business, but thanks to IGAT, I now have a parallel career in music. They showed me that my talent had real value," she says.

James joined IGAT Club's tech innovation workshops with basic coding knowledge but no clear direction. Through the club's mentorship program, he identified a problem he wanted to solve - helping small businesses manage inventory.

"The IGAT workshops connected me with industry professionals who gave practical advice. The hackathon pushed me to develop my first prototype," James explains.

His inventory management app won the club's tech challenge and was subsequently adopted by several local businesses. With seed funding from a club sponsor, James launched his startup while still in school.

Today, his company has five employees and serves over 50 clients. "IGAT didn't just teach me skills - they showed me how to turn ideas into viable businesses," he says.

Grace had been drawing since childhood but never considered art as anything more than a pastime. Her perspective changed when IGAT Club organized an art exhibition featuring student work.

"Seeing my paintings displayed gave me confidence. The feedback from visitors was overwhelming," Grace remembers. Her pieces caught the attention of an Italian art professor visiting Kenya.

This connection led to an invitation to exhibit in Milan and eventually a full scholarship to study fine art in Italy. "I was pursuing a diploma in architecture, but IGAT helped me realize my true passion was in fine arts," she says.

Now in her second year at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze, Grace credits IGAT for her unexpected career path. "They saw potential I didn't recognize in myself and provided the platform that changed my life."
